The Formula Used by This Calculator

For May 15, 1990, the month is 5. The day reduces from 15 to 1 + 5 = 6. The year reduces from 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 19, then 1 + 9 = 10, then 1 + 0 = 1. Add the three values: 5 + 6 + 1 = 12, then 1 + 2 = 3. The Life Path Number is 3.

Example: When the Result Is a Master Number

For January 9, 1900, the month is 1, the day is 9, and the year reduces from 1 + 9 + 0 + 0 = 10 to 1. The total is 1 + 9 + 1 = 11. Because 11 is a Master Number, it stays 11 instead of reducing to 2.
